Not since the hit song Casting Form on the Bench has The Suburbans released a music video. But it is finally here. The Move My Feet Music Video is now Live!
Shot in and around the Eastern parts of Singapore, this video was a huge effort in logistical tightrope walking. "We literally had to get traffic to stop while we 'moved our feet' on the roads", said an exasperated Wayne. Chief coordinating producer for the shoot. Cinematographer, Joel also had lots to say on the challenges he faced. "The upside down shots took months of research and planning", "Teams worked overtime on R&D to pull of those seemingly innocuous scenes, but they were tricky indeed and very dangerous to pull off". "But the efforts were well worth it he said".
The Suburbans also had lots of prep to do before the shoot. In particular was lead singer for the song, Michelle aka Sally, "My feet were really killing me. Everyday it was nonstop rehearsals and choreography to get the moves looking just right". Rehearsals started at 7am each day and ended at 2am, and this went on for a full 3 months. "We needed to make sure the moves looked "Fast and Furious" on screen. And boy! Did the moves sure look furiously fast.
